Upon entering, you’ll be instantly in awe of the exquisite ocean views through floor to ceiling bay windows. These views can be enjoyed over a meal at the dining table, or from the private balcony beyond. When you venture from your tranquil haven there’s plenty to do within this seaside resort; sandy surfing beaches start 7 miles away, and Exmoor National park with its moorland, valleys and coastline is nearby too. The apartment is accessed via external steps and a lift. Then, you’ll step into a sleek and contemporary open-plan living space, a well-equipped kitchen, cosy lounge area, and superb dining space with panoramic sea views. Both bedrooms are light and tranquil, with coastal hues and decor. The double bedroom features an en-suite shower room, whilst the twin room offers more ocean views. The family bathroom is similarly fresh and bright and features a bath for long afternoon soaks. The small private balcony is accessed from the dining area, so you can sit and take in the scenery and distant coastline with an al fresco meal, although please take care if small children are with you. Within Ilfracombe, you can explore the array of independent shops and quality restaurants, along with the unique Tunnels Beach, and Damien Hirst’s famous statue, Verity. Other attractions include an aquarium, swimming pool and cinema. From the harbour, you can set off on a pleasure cruise, fishing trip, or boat ride to the wildlife-rich island of Lundy. For sandy shores, surf lessons and bustling bars and restaurants, the seaside village of Woolacombe is only a 7-mile drive away.
