The receptionist was the worst I have ever met. I had to visit twice the host’s office in the center of grindenwald and she was so rude and the attitude was so bad. Our first impression to chalet was absolutely bad because of her. The chalet was soso but cleaning was not ok. I can find many spiders house or dust and the bed matress was so uncomportable.
Magnificent views! Very spacious and clean with top notch amenities. Our favorite was the deck with unparalleled glacier and mountain views.

Great location, easy to walk into town or to the gondola system to explore. Nice house with beautiful views.
i went to stay at Chalet Rivendall this past week with a few friends - I was really looking forward to my stay but it saddens me to say that unfortunately we were not welcomed very well by the hosts. Upon arriving, we went to meet the hosts to get keys etc and were not happy to be spoken to rudely for asking general questions. The chalet is beautiful but one suggestion to the hosts would be that there were a lot of spider webs so the cleanliness could have been better. Other than that our stay was pleasant but I would like to stress that in general any meeting or verbal transaction with the hosts while we were there was quite an inhospitable experience. I would really like to say that it would be more pleasant if the hosts were more amicable and did not treat their guess the way that they did us. I hope this is helpful for your future transactions.
