This lovely home in a converted stable is perfect for couples and their four-legged friends who want to soak up the Somerset surroundings. The shared, enclosed paddock means you can rest assured that your dogs have somewhere safe to run off all their energy – they may even get up close and personal (but perhaps not too close!) with the resident hens, goats and horse. Burnham-on-Sea is within 3 miles of the property with its long, sandy beach and dogs are welcome on most of the beach all year. Just remember to clean off those sandy paws before they jump up for a cuddle. This charming single-storey property offers clean, comfortable and contemporary accommodation. It is one of three properties situated around a courtyard behind the owner's house. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a fantastic space, offering all guests, including the furry ones, a space to cook, eat and relax and the French doors provide views of the neighbouring countryside. Thankfully, the wooden floor makes it easier to clean up any muddy pawprints. The restful bedroom and contemporary shower room are all on the same floor. Outside, there is a private patio area with a BBQ, so you can make the most of summer evenings. A great deal of Somerset is easily accessible from this property as it is situated on the A38. Within 16 miles there are two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Quantock Hills and the Mendip Hills, offering you and your pooches a wealth of picturesque ‘walkies’. For something cheesy, why not head to the stunning Cheddar Gorge which is only 13 miles away… and yes, this is the home of Britain’s favourite cheese. There are also some wonderful historical towns/cities within 18 miles such as Wells, Glastonbury and Taunton.
