My stay at Casa Carolina was amazing the village is beautiful and easy to walk around. The locals are very friendly and helpful I felt welcomed. Sylvia had lots of recommendations for things to do around the village and I was lucky enough one of the neighbours arranged for a local artisan to come to the house so I could purchase some bead necklaces. She was also flexible and let me check out late :) Choose this place if you want a retreat in nature with beautiful surroundings and a break from the city! I will definitely come again

Casa este foarte frumos amenajata si te poate duce in vremurile de mai demult. Cu toate acestea, conditiile nu lipsesc.

Casa Carolina is the perfect place to use as a base when exploring Maramures. A true home in the countryside...It is incredibly quiet and peaceful, and Sylvia and Viorica go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have a pleasant stay. There are tons of extra touches and amenities, the meals are wonderful and the experiences offered are well worth taking advantage of. We highly recommend to anyone!
