Beautiful home located right next to a peaceful lake. The home had everything we needed to feel right at home and Dan was proactive with checking in to ensure our stay was great! We look forward to our next visit!

Dan’s place is warm and inviting, with everything you need to feel the comfort of home. Dan is incredibly responsive to all inquiries. It was the perfect place to gather out of state kids from PA, VT & the college kid at UMass. I only wish I had found this place sooner, as it would a wonderful stay if attending a graduation in Amherst. I appreciated the dog friendly home that was spotless of dog presence. No hair or other issues, as Dan requires dogs stay off the furniture. Will return! Dan called to straighten out a very minor issue that was not caused by him. This type of personal service is what makes him stand out as a Super Host.

Our family of 7, and our dog felt right at home at the Hillside Hideaway! The house seems newly built, everything is brand new from appliances to the furniture, and very tastefully decorated. There was lots of space for everyone, beds were super comfortable, bathrooms modern and clean. Communication with Dan, the owner, was perfect, and he even let me know that he was having a hair dryer delivered the day we arrived in case we needed it! It was extremely thoughtful of him! The small neighborhood on the lake was quiet and peaceful. The grounds are well kept and nice for a pet to run around on. We were spending time there to visit some colleges in the area with our daughter - the house was centrally located - not too far from Boston and close enough to Amherst. It was the perfect place for us!
