It is the best place in Alaska. Many thanks to Mary and her husband for her love and care we were overwhelmed by. If I would get a chance to come back it will be like get back home.

Mary was a wonderful host; she was kind, generous with her time (and also with outdoor clothing for our kids), knowledgeable about the area and nearby excursions, and always cheerful. She prepared a classic and ample farmhouse breakfast each morning. The expansive yard had many outdoor toys for the kids, and the neighboring fields and forests offered many places to walk. The rooms were clean and the bathroom spotless, and the upstairs common room was well-stocked with amenities. She was a perfect host, and we enjoyed our stay there and enjoyed getting to know her.
