Beautiful setting in great location convenient to several towns and a multitude of outdoor activities from hiking, biking, fishing, white water rafting, and road touring. Close to I26 for easy access to Asheville and Tri-Cities. No cell service but excellent wifi which I was able to use with Verizon wifi calling. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great deck with awesome views of Unaka Mountain and Cherokee National Forest. Private setting on large property. Only negative was barking from neighbor's dogs that apparently had a litter of puppies so may have just been bad timing when I was there.

Nancie has a beautiful house! She was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She answered calls and texts right away. Her home has everything you need and more. Although the kitchen is a little small it is extremely well stocked with everything you need to cook. I cooked for my family 5-6 nights a week without a problem. There is a large room right off the kitchen that you can keep supplies, etc. in. Bedrooms are spacious with lots of natural light. Mattresses are comfortable! No TV but there's wifi. We used my tablet to watch videos. The surroundings are beautiful! Country at its finest! You won't regret staying here!

We stayed at Nancie's place for a month - we had moved to the area for a job. She has a very peaceful quiet place with beautiful views. The house is very cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is small but she has all the things for cooking that you need - including good knives and pots and pans. Just really a wonderful place

Nancie's was the first place we've rented that felt like we were in a home, not just a house. The kitchen was fully stocked with quality pots and pans, not scratched up Teflon. The property is 18 acres with a walking path, but less than 10 minutes to few nice hikes and 20 minutes to a lot of fantastic trails and parks. (Be sure to check out Buffalo Mountain Park!!) It's 20 minutes to Johnson City and about 25 minutes to Jonesborough, the oldest city in TN. Communication with Nancie was easy as was check-in.
