The living room also boasts a large TV and an even more impressive wood fireplace. (If you want to use the fireplace, please bring your own firewood - available from most local supermarkets.) On the top floor, a spacious primary bedroom with a large skylight window and open glass doors are alongside a reading and work area. Two additional smaller bedrooms, each with beautiful lake and sunset views make for an ideal layout for families. A modern bathroom with a large shower complements the upstairs living spaces. The basement level provides the added luxury of a rejuvenating sauna and a bonus shower, perfectly refreshing after a sauna, of after a day on the lake or wandering the wooded trails. A large laundry facility is also available on this floor. Preparing family meals together is a pleasure in our fully equipped kitchen, with classic Swedish styling complemented with modern appliances. Whether you're preparing a smörgåsbord or a simple breakfast, you'll find everything at your fingertips. This home’s natural surroundings are truly the heart of this property. A large garden offers an idyllic setting for a morning yoga session, alfresco meals, or simply lounging with a book. Water enthusiasts can easily launch kayaks and paddle boards (provided for a nominal fee) directly from the garden and explore the calm protected waters of Lake Torskabotten. The heart of the charming Tollered village is just a short walk. Here you can explore one of Sweden’s best preserved old mill towns and the vibrant lakeside restaurants, spa, and shops of the renovated Nääs Factory. Tollered is also home to Sweden’s smallest movie theater, a cozy cinema in an historic brick building where every movie is still stopped for an intermission and fika! Step out the back door and just past the home’s garden wall to find forest trails that lead to berries and mushrooms in the peaceful forests that surround the home and lake. A public bus stop is only 500m away with direct access to downtown Gothenburg or the train station in nearby Floda. At the Floda train station, less than 10 minutes away by car or ride-share, a train to downtown Gothenburg departs every 30 minutes. We want to ensure your stay is as hassle-free as possible. All bedroom and bathroom linens are provided, so you can pack light and feel at home immediately upon arrival. We have an electric vehicle charging station which is available for 150 SEK per night (just to cover the costs of charging your vehicle).
