Our two month stay in Hobart was outstanding and the house was even better than the already amazing photos. The house is very comfortable, very bright, with plenty of space, surrounded by gardens which provided us with apricots, plums, pears and veggies during our stay from Jan to mid Mar. Our hosts, Natalie, Marianne and Paul, keep their home perfectly maintained and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The family is thoughtful and generous The kitchen is very well equipped. It even had a milk frother. 😉. We were entertained by the comings and goings on the Derwent River of cruise ships and sail boats from the spacious balcony. The house has an eastern exposure and mornings are glorious. We did day and multi-day trips for golfing, hiking and sightseeing and always loved coming back ‘home’. Our introduction to Hobart and Tasmania could not have been better. We’ll be back!

Some Airbnb accommodation is solely used for holiday lets and managed accordingly, other accommodation is someone’s house which you temporarily occupy. This property is the latter. Which is not in any way a problem, but it’s clear you are staying in someone’s home rather than occupying a dedicated holiday let. That may bother some people, others not. Property was very clean, beds incredibly comfortable with high quality linen and pillows and the views are spectacular. Kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and it was great that the owners invited us to use spices and condiments as it allowed us to be a little bit more creative with our cooking. Overall, a great base to spend Xmas in Hobart.
