We loved our time in Kona and loved this home! It was a great set up for a family. We loved all the outdoor spaces and all the beauty! Our family loved the pool and hot tub and playing in the lawn. A quick drive to our favorite beaches and close to our favorite restaurants downtown. Sandra's home was very welcoming and we would love to visit again!

Our visit to Hawai'i officially became our family's favorite vacation to date! When my 10 and 11 year old sons are asked what their favorite part of Hawai'i was, they both emphatically say, it was the airbnb they stayed at! They then go on to discuss the pool, outdoor kitchen, badminton/volleyball court, the gardens and games! For myself, I adored the layout of the space....especially the outdoor kitchen....which provided a wonderful hub for our family to spend time together cooking, playing cards and simply enjoying the breathtaking views of the ocean and gorgeous gardens on the estate. We went on daily adventures around the Island but the best part was to be able to come "home" to such a relaxing and well-equipped space for us all to truly be able to enjoy each other. We can't wait to return to the Kona Heavens Hideaway in the near future!

Our trip to Sandra's place came after 14 very difficult, debilitating months of living in mold back in Boston (I have a severe mold allergy so they were 14 terrible months). Sandra's place was one of two places I have stayed in several years where my reactions began to dwindle and I began feeling myself again. Her place is very clean and relaxed, and the yard is lovely. The outdoor (but covered) kitchen is a nice touch and my family who lives in the area and I had a really great time while we grilled, cooked dinner, and played in the pool. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and the outdoor kitchen allowed my family and I to interact while we were cooking/cleaning/etc. Sandra is a gracious host, and her place is a solid place to stay if you want to be close to town, stores, restaurants etc, but are still looking for a peaceful setting. On a personal note, I am grateful that Sandra's place allowed my symptoms to resolve for the first time in over a year - it was a real gift.

Sandra’s property is absolutely stunning. We couldn’t get enough of the outdoor living space and the pool. During the day we’d watch the ocean from the deck or walk down to the grassy area where the chickens roam and there’s a variety of fruit trees. It is a pretty incredible place. The showers are super nice with good pressure and there was a good amount of space. The flow of the inside is a little unique that the King bed is in the living space which goes into the larger bathroom, then into another bathroom, and then into the second bedroom. But no issues on our side with that. Sandra was super responsive and we had a great stay.
