A lovely space where you can relax and unwind. AC worked wonderfully, bathroom was clean and stocked, and all appliances worked well. Just as described in the listing! We loved the views of the lake and the peaceful winds while sitting next to the fire pit. We will be booking again for another weekend getaway!

Very quiet and peaceful. Welcoming and homey. Perfect for a couple wanting to unplug and spend quality time. We did Bluetooth Netflix for a couple good movies. Dock fishing is good; bass, catfish. John at CJ’s bait shop is very friendly and helpful. Too windy and cool to utilize kayaks the week we stayed but would book again in warmer conditions to take advantage of kayaks and local boat rental.

The Hideaway is a really special place; it is perfect for a couples getaway. It's beautiful and clean and really close to the water. We enjoyed kayaking at sunset on our first evening. We visited a local yummy Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the coziness of the space and cooking lunch and breakfast in the cute and well stocked kitchen! We loved it. The host was so kind and accommodating. We recommend!!

This was a last-minute getaway and it ended up being absolutely perfect for us. It was secluded, had a beautiful view, and was so peaceful and serene. The tiny cabin had everything you would need to cook all your meals, the bed was so comfy, and the view from even inside the home was magnificent. We will definitely be coming back once it warms up!~
