Rarely available, lovely, clean, light and airy double bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom. Situated in the North London suburb of Muswell Hill, with good transport links to Central London. The bedroom has a large double wardrobe with full length mirror, bedside tables and storage for clothes. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower with shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer provided for your convenience. My home is a warm, comfortable, modern, well maintained four bedroom townhouse with a lovely south facing garden. You are very welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee, this is always available for you in the kitchen. In order to make the most of your time in London you are free to come and go from the house as you please, I just ask you to return quietly after 10.00 pm to avoid disturbing others.

Helen was a great host and I had a lovely time at her place, Helen was friendly and helpful and we had some great chats. The room itself is perfect, immaculate. The bed was extremely comfy and the ensuite was lovely. I will definitely be back and had a fantastic stay at Helens place 😊 Highly recommend!

spotless, modern, quiet, parking - ticks all the boxes
Helens house is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean light and modern. Toiletries were provided in ample quantity as was tea coffee and the use of a nice kitchen. We’d taken our own breakfast not knowing if this was ok so a bonus to us. Lovely lady. Could not have done more if she’d tried!
Helen is certainly the hostess with the mostest. It was a pleasure to stay in her lovely home for the second time. The room and ensuite are everything one could wish for as they are spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable and I was able to use the facilities in the pretty kitchen to make tea and coffee. Helen was also very helpful in giving clear directions on travelling around London thus ensuring that I arrived at my various destinations on time and unflustered.

The house is located in Muswell Hill, North London; a beautiful, leafy Edwardian suburb with a good range of amenities, great pubs, an excellent range of restaurants, cafés, delis, a variety of interesting shops and an independent cinema. Nearby, we have Alexandra Palace and Park with its beautiful panoramic views over London as well as the array of events held there such as weekly farmers market, concerts and exhibitions.
Located in Zone 3, central London is accessible either via the 234 bus from the end of the road which takes you to East Finchley Underground Station on the Northern line, or nearby the 43 or 134 buses go into the City or West End and run 24 hours per day. Alternatively, you can make a quick escape by car to the countryside!

I was born on the south coast of England, but have lived in London for 40 years: the first ten years in central London (Marble Arch and Holland Park) then Wimbledon, South London for three but have most enjoyed living in Muswell Hill for the last thirty years. I know London and Muswell Hill well and am always happy to share my knowledge and advise guests on travelling, places to visit, shop etc. I enjoy going to out to restaurants, the theatre and cinema, visiting historical places and travelling both in the UK and abroad.
