Chalet Donnelly is beautiful and you truly cannot beat the location and view. The Host was responsive, my review is based on value and cleanliness, and also just a heads up for people with toddlers or younger children. There is a spiral staircase attaching the two bunk rooms, with no door. If you are trying to out multiple young kids down from different families it can be a bit of a logistical issue with the noise traveling between the two rooms, and not to mention the staircase is treacherous for small children (under 5). I think the photos should be updated and a more detailed description of this room set up. The utensils and cooking supplies is the kitchen are mediocre and unorganized. I think just a simple amazon order could fix this… truly I think either just lower the price or I would just a bit of a refresh on some of the comforts inside the home.

The Airbnb experience was exceptional. It provided the ideal venue for hosting my men's retreat, offering ample space and necessary amenities for a successful event. The cabin's surroundings were perfectly suited to our activities, and the clean, well-equipped house exceeded our expectations. Communication with the management was smooth and responsive. Thanks once again for a fantastic stay.

There have been a lot of changes to this home from online postings (IG). While we had an amazing time we feel like we paid alot for a few things they listed or had drone videos that sold us on renting this home. One was the sledding hill. You will be responsible for making the sledding hill which was hard with not knowing the layouts of the rocks and steps. It dumped snow and was crazy windy and cold when we were there. We didn't mind the weather. We expected it up there since we are from the area. But we spent all weekend trying to make a sledding hill. We finally gave up and took the kids to the gravel pits. The sauna door is warped and doesn't stay closed so it was full of snow when we got there. The new glass igloo was a nice warm fun place to hang out and the hot tub was a huge hit. The floors on the main level are concrete which is slick when you have babies with you. We didn't ever find the baby gate or the slide you see on IG we guess it was locked up .

Beautiful location, very spacious house, and lots of amenities! We had a few issues throughout our stay, but the host was very quick to respond.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views! Tons of sleeping space and fun things to do while we were there. Special note regarding the kindness of the hosts: I originally booked dates here but when my father became ill and had to be placed on hospice I reached out to the host and explained that I needed to cancel so I could be with him in his final days. The host allowed me to cancel without any hesitation or penalty. I was so incredibly grateful! After my father passed we decided to rebook as we really needed a peaceful place to escape to to begin our healing. The peaceful beauty of this home allowed us to start this process. I am so grateful for their understanding.
