Great location and lovely room :) the bed was very comfortable! Easy check in and host was nice. Being above a restaurant / pub did mean that it was very noisy in the evening but this was to be expected and it was quiet after around 11pm.

This place has an excellent location in at johns wood, located above an Inn or a pub/ restaurant, it gets busy at the weekend, and noisy with people just below but quite after 10-10.30pm. The room is lovey and airy and beautifully furnished. Except the annoying blinds that don’t work well and rattle if it’s a bit windy and the window is open. The remote of the TV didn’t work. The light in the bathroom didn’t work and despite me reporting it, didn’t get fixed till late in the evening even that was done by the kind member of staff in the restaurant. The bathroom flooded as the drain was blocked, again the host refused to return my messages when contacted. The rate is that if a 4star hotel, which this place is not. Host… please improve your communication…!

Lack of communication made this a much more stressful experience than it needed to be. The room is nice, but needs soundproofing from the upstairs room is loud music is to be played early on a Sunday morning.

Unfortunately I can not give a review on Ashish’s place because I was unable to access the property. The check-in time was 1pm, but nobody was available to provide me with access instructions. I was eventually contacted 4 hours later, but I had already made alternative arrangements because of the lack of host communication, and uncertainty about whether I was being scammed
