My son and I had a great 2-night stay on a Spring Break guys' trip - wanted a unique experience for him and was a big hit. Plenty of living area for us, fully functional kitchen, plenty of refrigerator space...bathroom and shower spaces are very tight (we're both over 6' tall), but not unexpected on a boat. We weren't able to use the outside upper deck due to weather. It was very quiet and safe around the marina and parked in the street in a secluded area in front of some townhouses...it's paid parking, but you manage via app so you don't have to worry about being near a meter to refresh. The beds are extremely firm - but again, it's a boat, not the Ritz. I would highly recommend for someone looking for a fun alternative to a hotel. By the way, Austin was fantastic - he made sure we had a flawless experience...very accommodating, communicative and even called late at night to help me walk through the heating units...5-star service!

Had a great time visiting Chattanooga and especially enjoyed staying on the houseboat. Austin was a fantastic host.

Enjoyable stay and a unique experience. Austin was very responsive to our messages when we had questions and a user error trying to check-in. The boat was clean and instructions were clear. We had no issues with hot water. There was occasionally a smell but it dissipated quickly and seemed like it might be the river itself. No issues with the toilet as others mentioned. Location is great, we felt safe and it was nice to have two restaurants nearby. Not super walkable to downtown proper, but there’s a scenic riverwalk and rental bikes very close by that can connect you to all that’s nearby. Bed is firm but not uncomfortable (to us). I’d say the other 2 beds would be best for kids or short adults. I’m 5’2” and was almost too tall for the smaller beds :) we would definitely stay again.

Austin’s houseboat in a word was perfect. You can’t beat the location with Scotties right there. You have to take a few extra steps when you first arrive but it’s so worth it to be right on the water. All the comforts of home, nice shower, large fridge, living room and the upper deck was a great place to relax. We watched a beaver bathe, have his breakfast then swim right by us, so special! We will be back!!
