Chalet 20 is a detached cedar-wood chalet located on the Erw Porthor Chalet Site in the beautiful Happy Valley within Snowdonia National Park. Ideally suited for a family of five or a group of three-four friends. Snowdonia National Park is the region known for its sprawling open lands and mountainous landscape, it’s a favourite amongst nature lovers. Chalet 20 has lovely views of the woodland and mountains surrounding the chalet park. As you enter the chalet the first room is the modern kitchen providing all the essentials for your stay. Through the kitchen is an open plan dining and living area, with space for five guests. Plus, a TV and lots of comfortable seating for everyone to relax in. There are two bedrooms, a double size room and a spacious bunk bedroom along with a single bed to accommodate up to three. The main bathroom offers a shower and toilet. There’s adequate space for everyone to get together and enjoy this lovely location. Behind the chalet is a grassy area and patio with garden furniture to indulge in a meal or some star gazing. There is enough parking for two cars, conveniently to the right of the chalet. The chalet is located approximately one mile from Tywyn. Tywyn has lots of amenities including a leisure centre, restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema and most importantly a beautiful sandy beach, with views towards Bardsey Island and The Llyn Peninsula. When the tide is out you can walk all the way to Aberdovey. Being only Three miles from the lovely harbour village of Aberdovey, there’s so much on offer. Aberdovey is a picturesque, harbour resort with a lovely sandy beach and a golf club. It is well-known for its windsurfing, paddle boarding & sailing centre. Fishing trips can be arranged all year round. This area is full of history dating back to pre-historic times. Off the beaten track are dozens of public footpaths and spectacular mountain walks. The high street has many independent shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. It’s a very popular spot during the summer. For even more outdoor adventure we are only 20 minutes’ drive from Cader Idris, if you wanted to hike the highest mountain in southern Snowdonia.
