If you are looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by the most stunning view of the valley with a sunset and sunrise right from your porch this is it. Jitendra is a great host and I had homemade, fresh and tasty food. He is shared lot of info about the place, way of living, the food they grow and all the things you can explore. Definitely a gem in the mountains!

The place is located on a hill, very peaceful and green. The hosts and their extended family are very welcoming! It is a nice place for a getaway from the bustle of the city. The accommodation itself is very minimalistic but neat. There are nice short hikes around their house into the nearby woods. There are also nice spots for relaxed picnics and Jitendra generously provided us with lots of tea and snacks. The chamomile+lemongrass tea particularly was very soothing! The hike up to the house is a bit strenuous and once there, it isn't easy to make trips down to the village. However, Jitendra facilitated getting some supplies for us when we needed some. Fresh meals were provided at an additional cost and Jitendra and his family were very receptive to requests regarding meals.

I had an amazing experience at Chalo Daanda Forest Farm Home Stay. It was a relaxing, peaceful retreat right in the middle of untouched nature. The mudhouses are kept nice and clean, with comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings. Jitendra, the wonderful host, took us bird watching, tree-hugging, and meditating in the forest after an amazing trek. The place offers breathtaking views. Jitendra, the host, is incredibly humble, knowledgeable about nature, and always keeps guests entertained. His understanding of plants, birds, and natural healing is impressive. The place has a lovely energy, perfect for a retreat. Meals were vegetarian, organic, and straight from the farms. Both Jitendra and his wife are excellent cooks, offering delicious local delicacies. I initially booked for just one day as a getaway from Rishikesh but ended up extending it to a week. I'd like to thank Jitendra for making my stay memorable, and I encourage all to experience the wonderful homestay.

Our stay at Jitendra's piece of paradise exceeded all our expectations. First of all, the hike to his farm went by so fast because of the beautiful views. When we arrived, we got served a delicious organic meal, prepared with a lot of care by his wife. The cottage we were staying at is absolutely gorgeous and clean. The fact that there was no Wifi didn't disturb us since we came to disconnect. The peacefulness and authenticness of this place is just out of this world, exactly what we needed. Jitendra is a passionate nature lover that will make sure you don't lack anything during your stay. He took us on a forest bathing walk, explaining us the many fauna and flora around. The last day he invited us to give a hand with the garlic harvest, which was a nice farm-to-table experience. We will keep an unforgettable memories of this place and will definitely come back.

I visited this place in early May. It was warm during your day and cold at night. Cold enough for a single blanket. Location: You would need to climb straight up the mountain for an hour to reach this off beat place crossing fields and forest (oak) with an enchanting view of Himalayan range. Jitender bhaiya sends people to help you with the luggage and to guide you through the way. I could only see 3 house in total around the area. It is that remote. You can witness the sun rise sitting in the porch. Rooms: mud walls and floors gave out traditional village house vibes. They have an attached bathroom with heating rod for shower, electric kettle and heater in the room. Food: The homemade food,was better and healthier than our healthiest diet. All vegetables were hand picked from the garden everyday. Jitender, the kids, his wife Seema didi and the entire family were very warm, sweet and friendly. The best host I have ever had.
