Unfortunately the customer experience was not good. Having to book by yourself the bed sheets and towels to a third party for 250 € is not something you are supposed to do when renting a luxury Villa like this. I even had to insist in getting the beds done before our arrival (normally the supplier would leave the sheets and towels in the house for you to do the beds). The check in/out is complicated as you need to pick up and leave the keys at the Abahana office. The pool area and sea views were great, but the pool water was dirty when we arrived. I called the Abahana office and they arranged the cleaning by the next day. Unfortunately, the pool was not cleaned and my wife ended up cleaning the pool (I sent the pictures to Abahana). The amenity list showed Central AC but in reality there is only AC in the bedrooms. The kitchen had the appliances needed except for a blender/mixer that I needed to prepare the meals for my baby girl. I asked for one but they could not provide.

The villa is fabulous! Amazing views of Calpe, nicely decorated and reasonably well equipped (some things need replacing - for example, the villa is supposed to cater for 8 people but there’s only 6 mugs, 4 tall glasses etc). The only thing we would add is a gate at the top of the steps to the swimming pool to secure it for children. It is let down somewhat by the agency - we had to pay extra and organise our own bedsheets and towels (something that I’d consider to be an absolute basic requirement), they gave us the wrong address for the check-in, there was no flexibility on the time we could collect the keys and they refused to meet us at the property (even though it added another 30 minutes onto our 8 hour drive). Despite paying over €250 for a cleaning fee, we had to make our own beds on arrival. The first night the agency rang the doorbell at 1.30am because apparently an alarm had gone off? Which we knew nothing about. For a luxury villa, the agency was pretty basic.

Stayed with 6 people 20-30s age group no kids. It was ideal. The beds were surprisingly comfortable since it’s a hit and miss on air bnb most times. Recommend you have a car or motor bike, all fine to reach the villa The location is remote enough that you don’t have to whisper at night so you don’t bother the neighbors but was less than 10 minutes drive from city centre or any super market. Taxi’s can drop and collect you from the villa for a cost of 15 euro per trip but sometimes there are no taxis for the whole night so you cannot rely on taxi’s for a night out. Everything was exactly as we expected! But the view was even better than the photos. When you leave the villa whether you turn left or right there are so many things you can do. I recommend you buy things like extra toilet paper, hand wash, dish washer tablets, laundry tablets, bin bags, salt, pepper, oil and bottles of water once you get the keys to check in so you don’t have to drive back down to city centre. You get a welcome pack of one dish washing tablet one bin bag etc but just hindsight if I were to do it all again I would get all of that at check in. For cooking the facilities are great. All working oven, microwave, cooker and even bbq. Great selection of knives cutlery etc. I would happily stay here again or just in any abahana villa since the company were a great help ! They even dropped off fresh croissants one morning

Vlotte communicatie, ophalen en terugbrengen van de sleutel verliep vlot. Een extra sleutel van de villa zou handig zijn. Nu niet mogelijk op de groep op te splitsen en op twee verschillende tijdstippen terug te komen doordat er maar 1 sleutel is!
