You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Our Spanish villa-style mountain farm in Santa Tecla has mango, banana, orange, avocado, jocote, lemon, marañon, starfruit, and caimito trees. The property flows down to a year-round stream that has a beautiful 20m waterfall. This is an authentic relaxing, quiet retreat where the temperature is always 70-79F! With gated entry and 24 hr surveillance this is is a dream to escape to. We have multiple areas to relax: An exercise/reading nook with great lighting and the mandatory family hammock. A family room area, living room area, large original desk and workspace, and separate dining area. The view is clear from any houses or noisy civilization. Being in the country, if you want to use your cellphone, Claro has the best signal, but Movistar, Tigo, and Digicel can work also. It is possible to get here by public bus but we recommend a car as the road is only partially paved. ***If you run out of water, please notify the gardener ASAP and he will call for a delivery. *laundry is under the main floor. There is a washer, and lines to hang up laundry. There is no dryer.

It was a great experience to book this place. I'm from San Salvador and I needed to rest from the hectic city but also didn't want to go so far because I don't have a car, so finding this place was so helpful to take a break. Jennifer gave me a warm welcome, both Jennifer and Cesar are nice. They were offering help in case I need something and explain what I was able to do in the house. Jennifer gave us (me and other tenants) a tour to the fall. It was a great time walking/hiking. I recommend to take or ask for this little tour. Just you need to bring food and comfortable clothes to go there and enjoy. Also there is an option to get pupusas near of the house. Consider is a house in the middle of a mountain, so there is not public light in the road, it is better if you move during the day but nothing bad driving at night.

very spacy, quiet room, hosted by a friendly couple just 15 minutes south from Santa Tecla. They also provide lot of information about property, migration law and how to settle down in El Salvador -fair, extensive and tailored to ones need. Highly recommend!

The best way to describe Las Quintas is our personal Garden of Eden: loaded fruit trees (some of which are only found here in El Salvador), coffee plants all the way down to the stream, and the little village of Las Granadillas next door. But still only 10 minutes to a supermarket and 15 minutes to the metropolis. Surf City is under 30 minutes away.

出行信息

There are buses in the afternoon (the last bus leaves downtown Santa Tecla at 6:00 PM) to come here and morning (The first bus leaves the canton at 4:00 AM). But they are typically OVER-crowded. We recommend using a car to get there. The house is in the country area, therefore the bus and taxi service is very different from the city, especially at night.
