We absolutely loved this place, it was a short drive to town and we had no trouble finding Ubers/lyfts in the evenings. Beautiful location tucked in the woods with gorgeous lake views, will definitely be back! I’m not sure if this was only because we had 5 people- but the bunkhouse about the garage was closed off and marked “private property” so if you’ll need that space, make sure to let them know.

This was our second time staying at Huckleberry Hideaway which says it all! The cabin feels like home and the views are spectacular. Our boys loved the bunk house with the giant tv for their games. The fire pit had wood available to make smores in the evenings and the hot tub is clean and fabulous. The owners/property manager really have thought of everything. Lots of little extras are provided and the property is well cared for and spotless. We will be back!

It was only my husband and I who stayed at this house. Lots of space for a family to spread out. The house is in a neighborhood, a photo of the neighbors could be helpful so you could understand the closeness. We had no problems, but you can hear them sneeze or cough. We were sent a message that they had reported us for "driving too fast". We are from Hawaii we don't drive fast haha & were more scared to hit deer that roam around the property (which was very cool to see each morning and evening) The train runs several times a day/night if you're sensitive sleeper just something to be aware of. It did not bother us but it is loud. The views are really wonderful better than photos. House has very low ceilings, We're 6ft & couldnt see ourselves in any of the mirrors in bathrooms. The master shower is small, 2nd bathroom is tub/shower combo again low. The house had all supplies needed to enjoy. We would recommend. The Hot tub & view is amazing. We made a fire outside each night. Enjoy!
