We contacted Vern late in the day and we were so impressed with how quickly he set us up for the evening. He was so easy to work with and gave us clear directions to get in and what to expect. So thorough. We were very pleased.

Had fun in good ole South Range. Loved sitting on the giant windowsills while reading and looking out over the towns main strip.

We arrived to sleep really late after exploring the area and left really early next morning to get started on the next leg of our trip. we had our own blankets and pillows to use on the bed, which we put over the top of it. There was a dog upstairs in one of the other apartments that kept barking and it was quite annoying. The sound machine helped a little but we had a hard time staying asleep. The couch was very worn out and had holes and stains so it wasn't very appealing to sit on to watch TV. When I took the cushions off to maybe flip them over, there was crumbs and some dirt under them. So, again, very unappealing. We left really early so didn't have time to shower or use the kitchen area.

Not terrible for the money, but some easy fixes would be helpful. Trash in the entryway, old tire, shovel, etc could be removed. Smoke detector wires were present, but no detector, this bothered me as there was only one exit down twenty steps. Barking dog next door was annoying. Furniture was from the 80’s or 90’s and well worn, sagging. Better stuff is available at second hand stores for cheap. Bed was hard, pillows too soft. The noise machine, coffee maker, electronic lock, and various appliances were a nice touch.
