This is a gem of a place. The house seems to be a recent total rehab, with good space, interesting (check out the chandeliers), good looking, comfortable furnishings and really nicely stocked kitchen and bath, from bathrobes to bottled water, coffee, tea and much more. Rocking chairs on the front porch and great gardens in the front and back. Everything is very thoughtfully done. It is an easy walk to downtown, although the neighborhood is far from glamorous, with some houses pretty run down (and others jazzed up). I found this to be true of housing surrounding downtown Lafayette in general and it didn't bother us at all. The hosts are not onsite, but very responsive via text and accommodating. They allowed us early entry, which was appreciated. Not inexpensive, but a good value and far less than you would pay for two bedrooms at a remote chain-brand hotel. One of our all-time favorite Airbnbs. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lafayette.

Allie was very responsive, proactive & kind about the problems we experienced. Some of the issues affected us as older adults. We are 66 & 71 and I usually check in the listings for places with memory foam beds, nice showers & beautiful relaxing surroundings. I struggled to find a place on Airbnb in this area that was available so I think I didn't look closely at the details. The house is located in a transitioning neighborhood I would say - one house looks like it should be knocked down and the next has been refurbished - like Allie's. Her flower garden greets you so beautifully when you first drive up but the location felt a bit unsafe. We didn't sleep well because the bed was too firm & a rooster next door crowed all hours of the day and night! We went to make coffee and the coffee maker had so much grit in it it was unusable. We went out most of the day & when we came back the power was out. No one else's was out. We needed to leave & Allie understood & refunded our stay!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der super gemütlich eingerichteten Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben und noch schöner. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Lafayette und bei Allie sehr genossen. Vielen Dank!

Absolutely loved my stay here! Beds were comfy, place was spotless and so cute. There were fresh floral bouquets in each room which I later realized we’re home grown in the front and back yards on the property itself! Such a neat little detail that I absolutely loved. Walking distance from plenty of good eats and such, the neighbors were also very kind!
