Understand what you're getting into if you stay here; it's a really qwirky house that's basically been reworked into a hostel. You're getting independent bedrooms, but they are tiny. Our sleeping surfaces were, to be honest, uncomfortable. But the me of 20 or 30 years ago would have been okay; that's just a function of me now being used to good beds. The value was great. Everyone else and their brother jacked up prices during the Eclipse, and Jonathan kept prices attainable. It's not like he didn't know about the eclipse, either -- he had a box of viewing glasses by the door. But he has values about the type of services he provides, and he held true to them.

Okay for the money however if you are looking for a clean room to stay, it is not the best choice. Except kitchen, the house is not well cleaned. There is a bossy girl friend of the host who does not consider others staying in the house. She walks and closes the doors like breaking the entire house that disturbs your sleep and daily activities. I had to send a message to the host about the same but that did not change anything. Host send me strict messages about having my service animal with me who is super well behaved dog but when i enter i discovered there is untrained dog in the house. Host did not clean and prepare my room and handed over a bedsheet and blanket to me. I did not feel its the right way to treat a guest who is coming to stay after a long journey. Host never cleaned my room until i vacate but charged a cleaning fee. There are no enough parking for the 6-7 rooms host is renting out. The plates and glasses provided is super cheap materials so better bring your own.
