This place was AMAZING! It was a pretty secluded place which is exactly what we wanted. We did need to get groceries and Carmen told us where to go along with some other places in town. She let us use the full kitchen, store food... I believe she also did the dishes for us!!? She let us come in the guest are at any hour(obviously being quiet if at night). She had 6 beautiful horses she let us feed and koi pond. There were too awesome turkeys roaming around. Never came to where we were camping (even though i was hoping it would happen). There were chickens, peacocks, roosters all in their respective enclosures! It was just an all around amazing experience! And we plan to make it an annual thing as long as possible!!! We love you Carmen!!! You're the best!!

We enjoyed our time on this quaint hobby farm campsite very much. We were the only ones there and really relished the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The farm animals were quite entertaining for us from the two tall, zany turkeys prowling around the farm to the beautiful horses and peacocks. The rooster crowing at 5 am was to be expected. The booms from Camp Ripley occurred off and on during the night as well as the train whistle going through the local town of Randall. Staying in a tent, we were thankful for the coffee and hot shower offered in the main house. Carmen is a great hostess and communicated well with us.

It was a beautiful place to camp. The only drawback is you had to walk everything to your campsite. Which was a bummer but it was beautiful to hear of the turkeys and the birds and the horses very serene. Highly recommend it.
