Das Haus befindet sich in der alten Olivenölpresse von Kamares, welche unter den riesigen Bergfelsen gebaut wurde. Der ideale Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern Sowie home office mit SPEEDY INTERNET Sie haben das ganze Anwesen für sich alleine. Der Patio verfuegt ueber einen alten Brunnen der nun als kleines Plantschpool dient. Im 1. Stock ueber der alten Presse,befindet sich eine grosse Terrasse mit Liegestühlen, Hollywoodschaukel, Sonnenschirm, Tagesbett und eine wunderschoene Aussicht bis zum Meer. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen, und hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Es ist ein offener Wohnbereich. Sie gehen in das Haus und finden die Küche zu Ihrer Linken, den Wohnbereich zu Ihrer Rechten und die Doppel- und Etagenbett am Ende des Hauses. Das Badezimmer verfügt über eine Dusche und eine Waschmaschine. 2 freistehende Ventilatoren zur Kühlung und Moskitonetze an Fenstern und Türen.

Excellent séjour. Un accueil parfait même à une heure tardive. Marinos a été aux petits soins avec de gentils attentions : petits plats, boissons… un grand merci à lui. Une environnement superbe, un extérieur fleuri et très agréable. La piscine a été très apprécié pour se rafraîchir. Le logement est très bien équipé. Nous reviendrons visiter la Crète avec plaisir.
Esperienza fantastica, Marinos ed Elisabeth mi hanno accolto con una serie di pietanze preparate da Marinos stesso!!! La posizione poi è fantastica per visitare la grotta di Kamares in giornata o per tentare la scalata del monte più alto di Creta: lo Psiloritis; il sentiero inizia a poche centinaia di metri dalla casa di Marinos. C'è poi anche la possibilità di tuffarsi in piscina a fine giornata magari dopo una bella passeggiata ;-) Consigliatissimo!!!
We have been traveling and living all over Crete, tried luxury hotels to countryside camping. This house with this location, the privacy and the view was the only house we want to come back to. And the service and hospitality from Mariano’s was superior. We really recommend this place from Marino and Sisi. Fully equipped house, full service and the place for ourselves. It was so romantic and warm home-feeling and we will for sure be back to Marino and Sisi!!
It had a fantastic stay at Marinos. I was welcomed with tasty local treats and Marinos, who only speaks Greek, was very easy to communicate with. He showed me through the whole property. The photos do a great job, but once i saw the whole set up i was pleasantly surprised as the property has several levels. The accommodation part is in the actual small house on the lower level. The pool is also downstairs as well and has a good size to swim in and cool down. The terrace, in the first floor above the olive press, is huge and literally in the rocks. The view from there amazing. Cooking a meal was easy as the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. I wanted to extend but could not as Marinos had already another booking. To sum it up this house is a bit like a maze that does not end to surprise you. I loved it and will definitely return in autumn to walk the Psiloritis. I can recommend Marinos place to all fellow airbnb'rs

Kamares village is at the foot of Psilorits and the gateway to many walks and hiking tours.
Several villages are close by, in particular the beautiful villages of Zaros, a scenic drive through the mountain roads will take you there with churches and monasteries on the way.
