We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunatly the electricity failed and we had three days no electricity nor water. The fridge failed so our food got mad. That was a little inconvinient. Other than that we enjoyed the pool and yoga lessons and the beautyful apartment. Please note that it is fully open. No possibility to store valuables in a safe and other guest can easily enter the apartment. Though nothing was taken and we felt safe. Toilette sometimes does not flush so we had to take a bucket full of water for flushing.

We loved our stay and the location - hosts are a wonderful, friendly family! It is easy to walk to a public beach, there are a number of good places to eat a quick tuk tuk ride away, and the locals are very friendly too. As other reviewers have said it is a flat and not entirely private (we were upstairs and others are downstairs). This didn’t bother us at all. We had our own private restroom and shower upstairs and a nice balcony to enjoy. I wish I brought a small portable fan because while it is very breezy, it can be warm inside the mosquito nets. My kids didn’t mind a bit! Loved the pool and ambiance. Bring snacks or your own food to cook in the kitchen if you want to be lazy or have a midnight snack. The shops aren’t well stocked but there is a grocery store on the way at Diani Beach.

Absolutely amazing place, with local spirit but adjusted to the needs of tourists. Very close to breathtaking beach, with variety of restaurants around. Aura, the host, is warm, kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the main house with 4 adults and 2 children. It’s a great accommodation, with a nice pool, opportunity to do yoga lessons and wonderful staff and hospitality. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and the main road is close by to get a tuk tuk to get food and drink supplies. We will definitely come back here when we return to Diani.
