We really enjoyed our stay! My son loved going out and exploring the river in particular. It’s beautiful and quiet. We also enjoyed seeing the cows. There is a porta potty that is very clean. Alex is a very friendly host. We will return the next time we’re out in forks!

Alex’s place is remote and beautiful, but challenging to access. Make sure to be specific about the type of car you have and whether it will be able to enter the property. The dirt road can get washed out in the mud and we almost bottomed out a few times.

Amazing experience! Beautiful sites with even more beautiful scenery. Riverbed is walking distance away with a trail for vehicle access if you have 4WD. The river bed is fun to explore if you have a capable vehicle with decent clearance. The trail to access the campsites isn’t too rough at all, just a couple dips at some points so be sure to take your time if you drive it yourself. Otherwise the host is very friendly and helpful in providing transportation to the site if you don’t feel comfortable using your vehicle. One big heads up: There’s 2 automatic gates you must open. When arriving, the 1st gate opens away from the vehicle (as usual) but the 2nd gate opens TOWARDS your vehicle. We didn’t see any warning signs so use this as a warning. Alex was very helpful and checked in with us during our stay. We will definitely be booking again. Overall an awesome location with so much beauty. We can’t wait to come back!
