This cozy, charming 1930s stone cottage is in the Adirondack Park in NY & directly on the coast of Lake Champlain. Positioned on 61 feet of lake frontage, this quaint cottage is situated in a small beach community with 180 degree views of the lake & Green Mountains of VT. The access to Lake Champlain is unparallelled as this beach is one of very few flat, shallow, & sandy beaches on the western shores of Lake Champlain. Set sail on the water, cast your lines, or explore the Adirondacks! Enjoy the historic and classic charm of a 1930s stone cottage with some modern day upgrades! While the three bedroom and one and a half bath cottage is cozy, we have gone to great lengths to maximize the functionality of the space as well as to modernize without losing any historic charm. Once you arrive, you will enter the cottage by way of the kitchen. The kitchen has been remodeled with an exhaust fan to accommodate your cooking needs, Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire microwave, and Frigidaire electric range stove. For your convenience, there is a convection/toaster oven, combined drip and K-cup coffee maker, french press, full set of Cuisinart pots/pans, baking dishes, utensils, blender, handheld mixer, serving dishes, wine glasses, and more! This area has a ductless split unit to meet your heating and cooling needs. As you depart from the kitchen, you will enter the living room area where you will instantly feel your stresses fade as you soak in the mesmerizing views of Lake Champlain and the Vermont Green Mountains. Open the windows and door to listen to the waves crash onto the beach. For those chilly nights, cuddle up around the cobble stone mason fireplace. A drop leaf table with seating for six is available as needed. This area also has a ductless split unit in it to meet your heating and cooling needs. Want more? Step out of the living room onto the vast screened in porch to amplify the stunning views and connect even deeper with the waves. Enjoy meals at the dining table (seating for six) or relax on the oversized couch as you watch the waves roll in and out. Venture outside to walk barefoot on the sandy beach, use the gas grill, build a fire in the fire pit, or soak up the sun from the Adirondack chairs. Beach towels provided for guests. We've got it all! After your dip in the lake, return inside to rinse off. A full sized bathroom can be found on the main level. The bathroom has been upgraded to include a white subway tile shower. You will find two bedrooms on the main floor--one king size bed and a queen size bed. Staying consistent with the very early 20th century architecture of the property, the main level bedrooms do not have closets but are equipped with a combined shelf/hanging closet system. You will find totes for your undergarments. Window AC units are accessible in these rooms. Venture upstairs to the primary suite, which consumes the second story. The eastern facing wall is comprised of massive windows, which affords guests with exceptional views of the lake and mountains. Wake up with the best pastel sunrises on the east coast! This area has a ductless split unit to meet your heating and cooling needs. Relax upstairs in one of two recliners found in the primary suite. Enjoy your favorite beverage or snack as the breeze blows. If needed, a separate table can be found to set up your lap top. A half bath is attached nearby as the primary suite has a vanity area as well as a small, enclosed room with a toilet. There is a large closet for your belongings as well as a dresser.
