Do yourself a favor and stay here. First, it was very close proximity to Aspen and Snowmass. It is about a 20 to 25 minute drive. It is an incredibly beautiful property. Every morning I was in awe of the views from this property. There are several different things to see and do property. From hiking, to ax throwing, making a fire on the fire pit, to the kids jumping on the trampoline, this property had something for everyone. In the house was very accommodating,. I was very fortunate that we arrived early. I was able to meet with him and he took me on a tour the property. He’s extremely friendly and accommodating. This is THEE place you want to stay on your next vacation to this area.
Relaxing, quiet spot hidden back in the mountains. Had a great long stay for several weeks and loved every minute!
Scott’s Fernweh Ranch is an absolute 5 star stay. The house itself is beautifully decorated, exactly like the pictures, if not better. Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. So many thoughtful touches throughout the home. The views from the ranch are spectacular. We did a good amount of cooking and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with pots/pans/appliances. Also, well stocked with spices. About a 10 min drive to the supermarket/town and about 20 min to Snowmass. Perfect for a long stay to ski. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again, thanks Scott!
Such a beautiful home! So glad that I stayed here for my birthday weekend in Aspen! Such an ideal location between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. I look forward to coming back in the future.

I'm originally from Texas and currently split time between Aspen, Austin, and Denver. I attended Penn State for undergrad and Yale for grad school. Traveling has always been a passion of mine. So far, I've been to over 50 countries and hope to continue exploring the world. I love being able to help enhance other people's experiences in a new city, so if you're my guest, I'll do my best to make sure you have everything you need.
