Mare Hotel is an awesome reprieve from the Charlottetown/Cavendish Anne-centric experience of PEI. If you love the country and animals this is the place to stay! Unique, charming and thoughtfully decorated. Great bed, Nana is a real gem to speak to about all things island, and very beautiful property with adorable animals -- Charlotte's Web come to life! Thanks for a very warm and welcoming stay.

Worth every penny plus more. Jasmine, Marc, and Nana are the most welcoming, kind and generous hosts. You must stay. You will love it.

We will start off by saying it is a beautiful, tranquil, eye opening experience that we fell in love with the farm animals and being able to pet or hold everything from babe kittens to pigs, horses chickens, turkeys and cows. It is truly a different experience from anything we have done before. The only draw back for us was the hot water tank in the room only gives off maybe 5 or 10 mins of hot water to get a shower. So if your going to stay here be aware of this. But the host will offer you accommodations to shower either in the big house or other means to clean one’s self. The hosts are friendly and understanding and will try to help in anyway.

I love animals, so this stay was a dream come true. The staff, owners and surroundings made it hard to leave. I might stop by for another horseback trail ride:)
