We loved our stay at Pear Tree Cottage. We really appreciated the little touches that Jodie had made, to make us feel at home, including homemade brownies, which were delicious. We also loved the environmentally friendly products, such as hand wash and soaps. The cottage is very well placed for visiting the area, being close to Brixham and Paignton. The bus services are very good too. One day we decided to leave the car at home, and caught the bus to Kingswear, then ferry across to Dartmouth, then a trip on Castle Ferries too. A great day out! We also really recommend Shaldon zoo, a lovely relaxing little zoo to look round, lots to see. We will be back 🙂
We had an absolutely wonderful week at pear tree cottage, the little touches left by Jodie were a lovely welcome after a long drive.. scones and clotted cream, tea coffee and homemade brownies… it is a real home from home in a beautiful location.. I can’t fault anything… all amenities were close by , as a family with 2 small children, you would t be disappointed.. we will definitely be back!! Xx❤️
Jodie and Thomas were great hosts and were very welcoming with some nice touches at the which was good after our long journey. The cottage was very clean and well equipped; in a very convenient location as a base for getting around to visit local beaches and the many other attractions in the area. This meant our holiday got off to a really good start. We would seriously consider staying at Pear Tree Cottage again.
Jodie and Tom's house is wonderful and full of charm! All the rooms are decorated with great taste and attention to detail. We found bouquets of flowers in every room when we arrived. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. Excellent beds. Everything is top clean. A beautiful garden that really invites you to linger. Heavenly peace day and night. Top location for exploring Torbay Bay, the Dartriver, Exeter, Dartmoor and much more. We will definitely be back.
