Staying in Big Canoe was an experience! So much hiking and natural beauty! Be sure to arrive before dark since the mountain roads are winding along the hillside getting to the house. The house was private and very comfortable the bed was comfy and the space was very clean. Our dogs were welcome and that was a plus! We visited Gibbs Gardens while there and it was a must see.

I really enjoyed my stay. The cottage is simple but had everything I needed for a quick stay over NYE. I really enjoyed the trails nearby and I hope to visit again when it's a bit warmer so my dog can play in the creek.
