1. Robyn was great - very responsive, warm and gave us clear instructions for our stay. She checked up on us regularly to make sure things were going well. 2. Decor and amenities - the cabin was very cozy. It felt like it was originally built as a family retreat, and any design choices made by Bowerbird stayed true to the vibe- updating it slightly. There were just the right amount of dishes, kitchen appliances and utensils, tons of towels, and the beds were comfortable. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. Plenty of firewood was left for us, about one bundle per day. 3. Cleanliness - the place was so CLEAN when we got there. Check-out instructions were so simple, and did not ask us to do any vacuuming or mopping, which was great. 4. Surrounding area - five-minute drive to a cute general store for any forgotten food items. Beautiful wooded area, short walk to the lake shore. Lots of trails nearby. In short, our needs had been well-considered. LOVED it!

Another great weekend tucked in among the trees! The cabin feels like home and is the setting for a perfect getaway. The well-equipped kitchen is set to prepare tasty meals in and the constant crackling of a fire is the right accompaniment to reading, talking, snuggling, and enjoying a glass of wine. Plus Grand Beach is close enough that trail runs and easy hikes in the woods, and swimming in season, are fun and accessible physical options. Aiming to return in summer and experience another season in cozy Belair.

Beautiful place! I love the cozy atmosphere of the cabin, my friends and I had such a relaxing time and it was needed after a whole month of hard work. Robyn was such a wonderful and accommodating host.

Our cabin stay was fantastic. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed it immensely as we shared much joy and time together. The immediate surroundings were great for morning & evening strolls with my dog and Belair is close to Lester & GB for some great exploring including sneaking in a bit of a trail run and late-season dip in the lake. We’d happily return.
