This will absolutely be a place that’s the highlight of my trip. The area, atmosphere, and most things about it were incredible. The location instructions were confusing, but when I looked up Tug B in Maps, I found it super quickly rather than using the provided addresses. It’s a 2 minute walk from a convenience store and a ramen shop, and they have good food and drinks downstairs. One of the most enjoyable things was just sitting downstairs in a corner seat and listening to music while watching the snow fall outside.

it is a really good location that is walking distance to the train station and nearby busstops which almost covers the entire Otaru busmaps. The host is very friendly and accommodative, guests are given an option to select their welcome drink (alcohol available), every night which is a huge plus. As understood from multiple reviews and also experiencing first hand myself, the internet connection is almost non-existence on the bunks floors. You will have to use your own data instead. Other than the network issue, this is surely one of the best places to stay :)

The place was very comfortable. The atmosphere is very friendly and I met a lot of people, it was so nice ! I highly recommend this place to you if you come to Otaru ✌️
