Regardless of where you stay there is always something you need from your host and sometimes that can be challenging. Josh and Carlie were absolutely amazing because they have an amazing place but also because they are very responsive. This home is very, very nice and super clean, which is important to us. However we had questions about a couple things in order to make our stay better and they were always responsive and intent on our satisfaction. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great very accommodating hosts. Beautiful & spacious in the perfect location. The fully stocked kitchen, cozy nook, office space, strongWi-Fi, home gym & awesome pool table/game room all pluses. Comfortable bedrooms & bedding, fully stocked bathrooms, with a nice supply of towels A+ My family and I had a wonderful stay! Many thanks!

Very responsive and helpful hosts. The house was cool and full of character. We had some challenges initially with the central heating due to unusually cold weather and ice that made fuel delivery delayed. The host was helpful in setting up space heaters throughout the house. We did experience some minor power issues where we had to reset the breaker a few times, but the host was very responsive the first time in explaining where the breaker box was and how to access it. Overall it was a wonderful place with very accommodating hosts. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again!

We arrived at night and there was absolutely no lighting into the driveway off a busy street. Couldn’t see the garage from the street. Pitch black. No address was posted where it could be seen. I had to park a block away and walk with my phone flashlight on to find the front porch entrance. I still didn’t know if this was the place. GPS said I had arrived but until I walked up to the door and saw the lock was I confident I had arrived. Portland has its share of crime and I felt unsafe outside the residence. When I told them about the entry they said to turn on the porch lights. They were already on but the house is surrounded by trees and you can’t see porch lights until you are well up the driveway. Plus they weren’t very bright. Scary place to approach when you e never been there.

Wonderful home in a wonderful location. All the amenities that you need while away from home! Beautiful Laurenhurst Park a couple blocks away, Whole Foods less than a 5 minute drive, lots of coffee shops and restaurants within close proximity. We had a great Thanksgiving here at the house with close family including two young children (6 and 9). Eveyone had the best time between card games, pool, and some tv shows. The apple computer with great wifi was a bonus! Easy check in on site (no waiting for keys), towels and beds already made and ready to go. So easy. Thanks for the great home away from home!
