Wow! What a beautiful view! We stayed here for five days and never ran out of things to do! Kayaking on the water was so beautiful. There is a ton of wildlife in the inlet so you don’t have to take a kayak to enjoy the nature there, but if you take the kayaks you’ll find yourself right in the middle of seals, eagles, and otters. It started hailing in the middle of one of our trips on the water and the sounds of the hail hitting the water felt like a once in a lifetime experience! The kitchen is well labeled and has all of the basics you will need for a long-term stay. They have are a ton of games in the game room, so there’s no need to bring your own! The movie theater room is so comfortable and it feels like you’re actually in a theater. The hot tub is placed so you can enjoy the view from its warmth. This stay had us looking for places for sale nearby! It’s that beautiful! If we don’t buy a place nearby by summer, we will be back! PS the hosts were awesome as well! Very kind people!

Our getaway at Shanti Retreat couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed our stay. Deepankar and his wife Whitney had excellent communication from the outset and were always quick to respond throughout our trip when little things came up like how to work the home theatre. The place is sprawling and the layout is unique. It was the middle of January and below freezing when we went but we bundled up and took the kayaks out one day when the sun was out and got to see seals and an amazing view of Mt. Rainer. So peaceful and tranquil! Highly recommend if you are looking for a private escape in Grapeview.
