This is an amazing old family home turned guesthouse located at the top of Acquapendente, just a few steps from bars and restaurants and about a 6 minute bike ride or 15-20 minute walk to the grocery store. The house is warm and inviting, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. No air conditioning, but I stayed in the middle of June during a heat wave and it was absolutely just fine with open windows. The rooms are on the 2nd floor, stairs only. My room was spacious, and the large shared bathroom was just across the hall. Ground floor is a living space and fireplace (which makes the whole entryway smell like the remnants of a cozy fire … very nostalgic!), and the first floor is home to the equipped shared kitchen and dining area which was stocked with some cold water, espresso machine, and various snacks. The most incredible part was the last set of stars leading to the roof. This place must have one of the best views in town of the rooftops and neighboring valley. With a table and chairs, the rooftop terrace is perfect for a meal or a glass of wine. Grazie mille for sharing your home!
