We had a happy stay at Black Barn during our Amsterdam holiday. The place was well maintained, spacious and cosy with beautiful views. Richard was very nice and responsive whenever we needed anything. We highly recommend this lovely accommodation to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Amsterdam (just over half an hour bus/train journey to Amsterdam Centraal).

Beautiful location and barn. We were blown away by the surroundings and the decor inside, it was luxury and we could’ve easily stayed longer. Comfortable beds, perfect lounge area and patio, there’s also free parking and Richard is a very responsive host. The local area is lovely and worth visiting for the day - go hire a boat/bike and eat locally. We got Pizza and Tiramisu and sat in the sunshine!

Lovely property, immaculately presented and in a stunning area. We would thoroughly recommend Richard's property to anyone. We especially loved it as it was so lovely to come back to a home from home after a long day sightseeing.

The Black Barn was ideal for our little Family trip. You were in amsterdam within 20minutes with the car. Everything was clean and very private. The barn is in a calm Neighborhood and super close to nature. The communication was easy and fast and everything from check in to check out went flawlessly. We would definitely come again:)

We visited with three adults and 2 young children. The property was perfect for this group. We really enjoyed the quiet village of Broek In Waterland after full days in Amsterdam. The Black Barn has a great design, comfortable beds, and wonderful black out shades that helped us sleep well. Richard was very responsive to all messages and was helpful with our inquiries. The walk to the bus line was about 10 minutes. Our 6 and 4 year old had no problem with the walk. There are four bus lines that run from Broek in Waterland to Station Noord. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus in either direction and always had a seat. We felt the trip to central Amsterdam was very easy. The village is quiet with limited restaurants/groceries. There is a nice supermarket at Station Noord where you can buy groceries.
