Faye’s place was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. It is extremely well organized and well-stocked. The setting and location are perfect. It is in a beautiful natural setting and at the same time it is convenient to both places to eat as well things to see and do. Faye answers any questions very promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return in the future.
We felt very comfortable, the apartment was private, cozy and clean and exceeded our expectations. The home is situated in a lovely wooded setting but close enough to town for a quick drive to lots of restaurants and shopping. Faye puts lots of TLC into the space and is a perfect hostess. Would definitely stay here again!
Faye's chalet was extremely comfortable and peaceful. In a great location, with countless things to do in the Berkshires, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. Certainly recommended.

My husband and I are semi-retired now and have a rather large house for just the two of us so we converted my former home office into a lovely apartment. We enjoy all the Berkshires have to offer - especially the great outdoors and sports - skiing, snow-shoeing, hiking, biking, lake activities, etc. Yes, it's a small community but the folks here are cultured and artsy - many are transplants from either Boston or NYC. My husband is a local but I grew up in CT, moved to NYC as a young adult, and eventually settled here. There are many good reasons why Great Barrington was voted as one of the best small towns in all of New England - we love it here!
