We absolutely loved this big, spacious property, both inside and out for our large family holiday to all come together to celebrate getting married in Alvor 5 yrs ago. All of the bedrooms suites were so, so lovely and we loved that there wasn’t a “short straw” room! The pool was so perfect for all the children, though a safety fence was shown in the photos online and this would have been really helpful to have. There is an amazing new intermarche supermarket just down the road now and we had arrived at 1.30am so the next morning we were delighted to find it also had a lovely bakery cafe in the entrance before carrying out our big shop to take back with us! The host was super helpful and responsive and we will definitely be returning again next year.

overall this was a great experience. the size of the place accomdated our party of 10. having the pool was a great feature for the kids. However the pools safety fence was removed (whereas the photos showed a fence) the day we checked in, we had no hot water. the hosts acted very quickly and sent a technician to the house to fix the problem. we found that the kitchen could use more cookware. amazing backyard experience. however we did find that the neighbors dogs would bark quite a bit (especially early in the morning). also... we found the place lacked bathroom essentials (toilet paper, hand soap, hand towels, bath and pool towels, dish towels, paper towels) also.. be aware there is a tourist tax that and needs to be paid at checkout. overall we were happy staying here, however there could be more offered to give it that "wow" factor

The house is located in a convenient location, walking distance from the beach. The house is dated and does not match the photos in the listing. The owner of this property was extremely unprofessional and showed up at the property unannounced on multiple days and even entered the house without warning. On both occasions, the owner claimed he was part of the maintenance team and was there to fix the pool that was not broken. Beyond this absurd invasion of privacy, the house did have a list of problems and breakdowns that was quite long: the electrical panel kept going down, the dishwasher was broken, the television remote was broken, the front gate was broken. In general the service was poor and even unacceptable on the part of the owner but the management company was actually great to work with. This house should not be listed on Airbnb given that the owner is unwilling to respect the privacy and safety of those renting the property.

Absolutely beautiful and huge house in a fantastic location. Coralie and Marcos are always there when you need and made sure our stay was just perfect. Will definitely be staying there again.
