Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Good location opposite park and close to hospitals. Parking is tight but good for small cars.

Scheduled to be in Melbourne on a weekend that featured a Grand Prix. All accommodations were high and scarce. Have stayed at many Air B and B listings.. This was by far the most disappointing. Place is just worn out and needs major overhaul. Tried to put us in a room with a massive stain on the ceiling. They did move us when we complained but the room was still worn out. Nice area but this is a budget type hotel and shouldn't really be listed with Air B n B. Furthermore, not really sure who Maxine is... Kinda like the Wizard of Oz and the man behind the curtain. All reputable hosts put a profile picture up. This listing does not . $700 USD to stay here for 2 nights is quite frankly, ridiculous. The Grand Prix undoubtedly drove the price up. I would not stay here again.

Maxine's place was in an ideal spot for my needs. Clean & tidy, great shower, and beds.
