My hiking buddies and I came to Canyon to hike in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We normally stay in a house in other hiking destinations because of the camaraderie as opposed to the isolation of a hotel. We don’t require a Five Star accommodation. Just one that is clean, comfortable and with a fully equipped kitchen. The Mulberry Manor was perfect for my friends and me. Elsie, the hostess, was responsive, accomodating and always helpful. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. The dining room table was large enough for all of us and the family room had a large flat screen tv with two large sofas. The house was centrally located close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. and with easy access to the park. Cellular service was good along with free Wi-Fi. We don’t hike in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park every year but when we come back, we will stay at the Mulberry Manor. Thank you, Elsie.

Our weeks stay went by too fast. We had plenty of room in the house and Elsie was extremely fast and replying to my emails and very easy to communicate with. The location of the house was great and it was a quiet neighborhood.

Very spacious.. Could use more cooking utensils.. But most of all very spacious… I didn’t like that it didn’t hv tv’s in the bedroom.. I’m a person who has to hv a tv to fall asleep… She was an amazing host I asked her if she could put up a Xmas tree she made that happen for the kids.. Overall I good affordable stay..
