For groups up to 12 people. Two cozy cabins (Cabañas El Girasol - Cabin 1 and 2) on the same land. The weather invites you to gather at night around the campfire in the garden. The green areas allow you to have an outdoor barbecue or play games. It is the perfect place to enjoy a few days in the Guatemalan highlands and have a rural experience, visiting the region's famous restaurants, hiking or biking, and visiting the ruins of Iximche. The property borders a main street so you can hear vehicular traffic and an evangelical church that sometimes performs rituals with music. The cabin is surrounded by its own green areas and a small forest. It is located on a large plot of land, ideal for disconnecting from the rhythm of the city. It won't be strange to come across bugs that are harmless in this area.

Ana was a great host, easy and fast to communicate. The house had easy access to Iximche and restaurants, located near the main road. The house was cozy and very clean; it was maintained very well. We grilled meat with churrasquera and enjoyed the campfire in the night. Our kids loved the garden and playing during our stay. Recommend 100%!

Excelente decisión en haber elegido este lugar! es sumamente amplio y acogedor! Las cabañas están ubicadas en un terreno bastante grande con diferentes espacios para compartir con tus acompañantes Es exactamente como la descripción, tienen todos los utensilios de cocina, y electrodomésticos para preparar tus comidas La leña es suficiente para disfrutar de un tiempo cálido en la chimenea y también en la fogata. Todo estaba impecable de limpieza y Pedro nos atendió excelente … 100 puntos .. definitivamente regresaremos … Hasta mi perro lo disfrutó!

Las cabañas Girasol son un bonito lugar para pasar un fin de semana de descanso, son muy lindas, mucha area verde y una cocina equipada. Habían muchos detalles para hacer la estadía mas cómoda, como lámparas para leer en cama y platitos para perros. Llevamos a nuestra perrita y se la pasó muy bien corriendo por toda la propiedad, en la noches con mis amigos hicimos una fogata y un churrasco y toda la madera y utensilios para estas actividades fueron provistos por Ana. El único detalle es el ruido de camiones y camionetas ya que es fácil de acceder a las cabañas, por lo tanto es imposible no escuchar las bocinas de las camionetas, pero aparte de eso todo fue positivo.

El lugar es ideal para descansar y caminar del ajetreo de la ciudad. Contacto con la naturaleza. Mis mascotas disfrutaron del bosque y de correr. Mi familia se sintio feliz. Ni el frío nos quito el deseo de caminar. Recomiendo el lugar.

Aldea Xetzac belongs to the city of Tecpán Guatemala and is at km. 90 on the way to Santa Apolonia. It is a good starting point for beautiful walks and enjoy the cool weather and beautiful landscapes.
Tecpán was the first capital of Guatemala. There is the San Francisco church almost 500 years old. 5 km from the city center are the ruins of Iximche, a Kaqchikel city, where religious rituals of the Mayan culture are sometimes performed.
On the main road, several restaurants make up the Gastronomic Route of the area. Restaurante El Pedregal, one of them, is a direct neighbor of ours. There you can enjoy delicious meals and buy homemade products of very good quality, such as wholemeal bread, cheeses, jellies/jams and sausages.

The cabin has its own parking lot.
You can access public transport a few meters from the site. This connects with Tecpán Guatemala and the main highway from where you can take the bus to Guatemala City, Antigua Guatemala, Panajachel or other tourist places in the west of the country.
