Hello traveling Friends ! Im Allan , Your Airbnb Host ! ...and i must say it's been a great experience meeting people from many parts of the world . Offering information and suggestions to my Guests about the island is a responsibility as a Host that I enjoy . I like to meet everyone as they check in making sure I have met their needs and that they are comfortable . I have 2options for people looking for a place to call home . My newest is called the Kaffe Haus. Studio by the Bay . Then we cant forget how it all started with the historic Green Roof Cottage with recent improvements for 2019 and into 2020 now a four seasoned property . I add improvements almost every season keeping my guests and their families in mind. Safety, comfort and the environment is top priority at the Green Roof Cottage. We compost, recycle and use low energy light bulbs , hopefully with a Solar solution into the future. This is not just a cottage rental property but my personal residence off season so you can expect more rather than just a standard rental cottage or Cabin . Extras such as local Art, comfortable furniture, thanks to Peter at The Dunes Cafe and good Beds with fresh linens , A full range Kitchen with everything you need to cook that gourmet meal to baking bread. Kayaks , Bikes , Ready and waiting on our Bay to be enjoyed by our guests . Our beaches are public so enjoy it perhaps with a small fire while watching the sunsets over Winter Bay. Im sixth generation Canadian with my ancestry from an Irish, Scottish and French back ground . I have traveled most of Canada except for the Rock which is on my bucket list . Currently wintering in Mexico with side trips to parts of Europe . My passion for Music as a young person took me into the music business playing professionally Bass guitar with many different groups at a very young age and I continued in the industry of Sound and Music until 2011 when I took an early retirement from Yamaha Canada Music LTD. Being in sales and marketing during my tenure working for the Japanese of 25 years I traveled to many far away places and after all that business and personal travel is it's so nice to come to a place of peace and tranquility. The freshness of the sea air and the great sea food . Prince Edward Island really has it all . Our smallest province in Canada with the some of the best beaches in the country and the local islanders with big hearts ... but please don't tell too many people . It's the islands best kept secret.... Now semi retired and resident of the island I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making sure their stay at the Green Roof Cottage is a good experience .I have travelled extensively using Airbnb and have stayed with many hosts in different parts of the world . I have learnt a great deal about hosting providing a clean comfortable , safe place to stay. I also understand there is always room for improvement and I take great pride to make sure my guests have the best experience staying at the GRC I can possibly provide.
