I had a mixed experience at this Airbnb. Pros: Great location, beautiful furnishings, comfortable bed. I like to cook at home a lot and the kitchen equipment was great to work with. Stays left us a welcome basket, which was a nice touch. It was quiet (you cannot hear the train at all), peaceful and yet so close to everywhere we wanted to explore! Cons: I have never rented a place where you had to manually ask every time you wanted hot water after 3pm. I take my showers in the evening (not to mention doing dishes and other things?), and was met the first evening with *ice cold* water. I immediately messaged the host, but as this is run by a business, no one got back to me until the next morning. They apologized and said they turned the hot water on for our stay. But then the next day, the Nest had switched it back to it's original schedule and there was no hot water again. Pretty frustrating. Also remember that "king size" in the UK is different than in the states.

The apartment was tasteful in its decor and had ample space for a couple. It was ideally situated for an easy walk into York city. The facilities were clean, modern and easy to use. My husband and I would book this apartment again if ever we stay in York. It was perfect for us. We had great restaurants nearby, a shops for all our groceries (usual high street and unique shops) and many places to visit. We didn't use our car once. My criticisms are fairly minor and only mentioning the first, so that other guests are aware. The main apartment door rattled very time another resident entered the property. It didn't distract from the great stay but I wanted others to know because it took a while to get used to. On the first night we thought people were knocking on our door until the noise became familiar. My other point, is for future consideration. There was no area for recycling household waste. We and another guest were looking for places to recycle bottles, plastic etc.

Amazing 🤩 Felt right at home. Such a comfy space with a 10 minute walk to the minster! Location was perfect so quiet and calm to enjoy a relaxing evening. We even had a gorgeous mini tree and a hamper to enjoy x

A lovely place to stay. Parking outside meant we could park up and not use the car. It’s a nice walk into town through a lovely park & the river is nearby. Also very close to another car park to leave car on check out day. The apartment was beautifully furnished and well equipped. It was lovely and clean and there was a lovely hamper and a coffee machine (which is a must for me!). The host was very good at communicating and I would highly recommend a stay here. We had our Anniversary weekend here and it was perfect.
