Great place to relax and sit with a cup of coffee on the back deck to enjoy the scenic view. Fresh lobster at Lohstah Kingz is just a minute walk! We enjoyed our stay at Katie’s place!

We loved our stay it was exactly what we needed as a retreat from our busy lives. The kitchen and baths were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable, always a plus! We had brilliant sunrises, enjoyed kayaking and walking to the point with the kids looking for hermit crabs. Definitely bring a Roku stick! We ended up running to Walmart to buy one once we realized it was needed, failed to pick up on that before arriving but otherwise we had everything we needed.

Nice house, amazing views. The hosts were very responsive when we needed anything. Awesome kitchen and bathrooms. Kind of disappointing that there wasn’t cable or even a Roku/smart TV. Also there were no air conditioners in the downstairs bedrooms so it was very hot. Unfortunately you couldn’t open all the windows either because there weren’t screens in all of them.

Katie was very responsive! Note that AC is in upstairs loft. Wifi was easily accessible. Bring a Roku or Firestick for the TV if you have. For coffee drinkers, note the coffeemaker is a standard brew machine (not pods). Nice kitchen and beautiful grounds with the water right there! Small private beach at end of the block and close drive to Mystic or casinos. Grocery store also short drive away. We were even able to purchase live lobsters at a small dock two lots down !

Katie was very responsive, responded almost immediately to address any concern that arose. A window AC unit is the only cooling in the house for the upstairs bedroom. We ended up bringing mattresses for my children upstairs and they slept on the floor so they could stay cool. Comfy mattresses and bedding. In my honest opinion, this property could use some love. The newly renovated space was functional and clean. The house had most things we needed. It does however lack a microwave, spare toilet paper, dish and laundry soap, so bring your own. Things like the stair rails being slightly disconnected and the deck and patio stairs growing algae and a window leaking need to be looked into. There were two dead birds on the balcony with maggots crawling through them when we arrived. Luckily the neighbors are kind enough we were able to borrow a shovel to get rid of them. Internet went out daily and we worked with hosts to get it up and running in real time.
