Great place to host a new years get together with friends. Very clean, lots of cookware in the kitchen, scenic surroundings. Unfortunately we weren’t aware that many of the rooms had a skylight without a blind/cover which we didn’t realise until the first morning when the sun woke us up - not a problem if you are an early riser or have an eye mask!

Kitchen / living area very spacious. Nice large (shared) garden. There was no info book in the house on where things were or how to operate the velux windows. Kitchen floor was grimy, there was no mop when we contacted the management, when I asked they replied a day later after we checked out to say the could deliver one the following day which was obviously no use to us. The slate tile that runs along the step to the large double doors is broken / snapped in quite a few places, the edges are sharp and broken parts were still left on the floor when we checked in. The white champagne flutes that were stored in the cupboard had old drink inside and lipstick marks, after that we made sure everything was fully washed by ourselves before use. 3 of the 4 bedrooms don’t have windows but veluxes in the ceiling instead. These have no blinds and no way to block out the light (which would have driven me mad if it was summer!) We all found the bedrooms stuffy even after turning thermostats down
