PLEASE READ in all honestly the property itself was great. Asides from the lie of being 7 minutes from the village. It was about 25 min. Which is a big difference for a group looking to go out at night and boarding during day. The host; Geraldine, is a complete joke of a person and essentially robbed $500 off our group. She has a serious anger management problem under minor issues where she was throwing papers around/at us, yelling right in our faces/ spitting threatening us This is all after we already agreed to pay her additional fee which realistically was not needed but based on her timing of the problem and her and husbands threats we had no choice so that we may continue our Saturday night. She was getting angry on the computer with Airbnb service when she simply couldn’t work the website. Just not the type of service or person you appreciate to deal with in life. Without even visiting the property she assumed we had ONE more person sleeping on the premises than what was stated and spoke up about it on our last night (Saturday) around 9pm. Threatening to call the cops to boot us out and having Airbnb manager on the phone. At this point we are all liquored up and would have no where to go and just want to enjoy our night. We were not having over the amt of people sleeping, but we’re have a party get together as stated to be allowed based on her ad before we went out to the village. Worst part is we read that this is not the first time Geraldine has done this to a group.

Amazing place for a cottage weekend!

The place was very nice. Great space with a great yard. Fair price for what you get. The hot tub was nice. Although, unfortunately, we didn't get to use it the first night because it wasnt yet warm enough. (Owners changed water just before we arrived). On the other hand, they allowed us a late check-out on Sunday to make up for the fact the hot tub wasn't working. The reason I assigned 3 stars was because the owners were very rude upon arrival. The cabin was advertised for 10 guests. We were a group of 10. But the owner tried to charge us $65 extra because we had originally indicated we were 8 (3 weeks prior). Airbnb charges the same price for this place regardless of whether you are a group of 8 or 10, so I wasn't sure the justification for trying to charge an additional $65. The advertised price did seem to be lower for booking early (a month in advance). Not sure if this was the cause for the misunderstanding. Otherwise the place was nice and had everything you would need. (All the cooking ware, plates, coffee maker, laundry, nice bathrooms, etc. - everything as advertised).
