There are no shared spaces. The accommodation is in a separate building from our house. The Attic is cosy yet very spacious accommodation. Set just off Abbey Foregate. 5 minutes walk to the Abbey, English Bridge and Wyle Cop. 8 minute walk to Train Station, the Castle and Prison. Access to River Severn walks and the weir just 2 minutes away through the lovely Castlefields Park directly opposite. We can provide contactless entry and exit to suit. The Attic is a fairly large room within which there is a double bed, L-shaped sofa, tea and coffee trolley as well as a table for eating. We have an additional large single futon style chair which can be used for a third bed if required. We can also provide a travel cot for smaller children.

Our stay here was all we could have wished for. The decor in the room is lovely and it was spotlessly clean. A very thoughtful use of space. David was friendly and very helpful. We would be very happy to stay again in the very peaceful location. Shrewsbury is a wonderful town and full of interest and character.
We had such a lovely stay! David was an excellent host, quick to respond before our stay and super helpful once we arrived, with recommendations of where to eat and what to do in Shrewsbury. The space is brilliant - really well thought out use of space, fab decor and spotlessly clean. Comfy sofa, good temperature, nice compact bathroom, and lots of nice little touches with the tea/ coffee etc. It is a perfect distance for discovering beautiful Shrewsbury on foot - we were properly won over to the town. We also really appreciated that David was happy for us to charge our electric car overnight, and it worked well as we could park the car next to the building. I would massively recommend this place!
Loved this place! It felt like my own home (except tidier lol) and was so convenient for local walks. Delightful to have parking included! I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you David!

Very brief stay and the attic was a perfect location. I found it to be spotless, comfortable and as described. shame for me it was just a practical stop over and I didn't get the chance to explore the area at all. Could not fault it

Underdale Road is located off Abbey Foregate. Many of the properties are from the victorian period and as such the area is part of the Shrewsbury Town Centre Conservation Plan. The accommodation is located perfectly for walking access to all parts of the town centre. The train station, castle and prison attraction can be accessed via the Castlewalk park (around 7-8 minutes) and the Abbey, English Bridge and Wyle Cop via Abbey Foregate (again around 7-8 minutes). Whilst you will have quick access to town you will still get a quiet evening as the area is peaceful and quiet.
Off road parking is available free of charge and is directly outside the property.
