You will stay in my home in Triantaros,a hillside village with an unspoiled view of The Aegean.The house combines traditional Cycladic features with a contemporary interior style.Upstairs is a large,high ceilinged living area opening out onto the terrace and the amazing view;downstairs are 2 double bedrooms,both with private bathrooms.The house is light,airy and very cool on the hottest days.The terrace is sunny throughout the day and has a pergola cover allowing you to comfortably relax or eat.

Geweldig huis in een fijn dorpje. Makis heeft ons heel hartelijk ontvangen en gaf ons goeie tips over Tinos. Dank je wel Makis! Het huis van Clive is sfeervol ingericht en je kan merken dat Clive een reiziger is met oog voor mooie dingen, getuige de vele kunstwerken aan de muur. Met het mooie weer zaten we de meeste tijd op het gezellige en relaxte terras en al gauw kregen we gezelschap van 2 enige Tinoskatten, Fluffy en Flora. Het huis heeft daarnaast werkelijk alles wat je nodig hebt. Langs het huis loopt een trap, die leidt naar het straatje waar de restaurants en het cafe zijn. Allemaal supergezellig! Echt een aanrader als je op Tinos bent.

Φέτος ήταν το δεύτερο καλοκαίρι που επιλέξαμε το συγκεκριμένο σπίτι. Δεν έχει καμία σχέση με τα αποστειρωμένα, χωρίς ταυτότητα δωμάτια διακοπών. Είναι ένα σπίτι με φοβερή αισθητική και ενέργεια. Με το που φτάσαμε στον Τριαντάρο ( από τα πιο όμορφα χωριά) μας υποδέχτηκε ο Μάκης, από τους πιο ευγενικούς και γλυκούς ανθρώπους του νησιού. Μας βοήθησε να τακτοποιηθούμε και μας έδωσε προτάσεις για καλό φαγητό/ποτό και παραλίες. Όπως κάνει πάντα άλλωστε, και όλες τις μέρες ήταν στην διάθεση μας για ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Το σπίτι είναι πραγματικά πανέμορφο, οργανωμένο, καθαρό και λειτουργικό κι ενώ είναι μέσα στην καρδιά του χωριού έχει απίστευτη ησυχία και ιδιωτικότητα όλες τις ώρες. Για το μπαλκόνι και την θέα δεν έχω να πω κάτι, λίγα λεπτά αρκούν για να νιώσεις την ηρεμία του νησιού. Είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή που κάναμε ποτέ μέσω Airbnb και εννοείται θα συνεχίσουμε να την κάνουμε μιας και η Τήνος είναι από τα αγαπημένα μας νησιά και το σπίτι πλέον έχει μια ξεχωριστή θέση στην καρδιά μας.

To σπιτι είναι εξαιρετικό από ολες τις απόψεις καθώς ο ιδιοκτήτης του, ένας πολυταξιδεμένος, καλλιεργημένος, φωτογράφος, έχει «συνθέσει» ένα χώρο όπου προτίθεται να ζει κι ο ίδιος κάποιους μήνες το χρόνο. Νεόδμητο, Καλό- οργανωμένο, καθαρό, διακοσμημένο με καλόγουστα επιπλα και αντικείμενα και «κρεμασμένο» σε ένα γραφικό χωριό της Τήνου σχετικά κοντά στη Χώρα με πανοραμική θέα.

My home is located on a quiet pedestrian street leading to the road below, approximately 50 meters away, that runs through the village, so parking is available at the end of the street or alternatively via a short flight of stairs, next to the house, which goes to the same road. Access to the house by either route is very simple and easy. You can hear the distant bells and sound of services from the parish church of Triantaros, Agioi Apostoloi, situated a few streets further up the village. The church was built in 1861, is one of the most important on the island and known for its marble and carved interior decoration. There are five places in the village, within a short walk from the house, where you can go to eat and drink.

Triandaros is an easy 6 kilometre drive from the port and main town, Chora, and 10 minutes away from the nearest beaches of Agios Sostis, Laouti and Ioannis or Porto. The neighbouring villages are Dia Choria and Arnados. Tinos is a fascinating and richly varied place, with around 45 different villages scattered across its 195 square kilometres, or 75 square miles, of land. It is approximately 40 kilometres from Triandaros in the southeast of the island to the largest village after Chora, Pyrgos, in the northwest of Tinos. There is a bus service, but renting a car is highly recommended for seeing the island, enjoying the numerous tavernas and visiting its many beautiful and secluded beaches – it is best to book in advance and your car will be waiting in the port to meet you on your arrival. I am sure that you will enjoy all the delights and interests the island has to offer as much as I have enjoyed living here since I decided to move to Tinos three years ago.
